Marquette musician to perform at Florence library on Saturday

FLORENCE, Wis. — Marquette folk musician Troy Graham — sometimes referred to as Tron– will perform at 10 a.m. Saturday at the Florence County Library.

He has often been labeled as a big teddy bear with a guitar, thesaurus and a jones for legend Bob Dylan.

Graham has released one EP titled “Sarah’s Engineer,” one LP titled “Video Day Vampyre” and a special limited-edition CD version of a radio performance he did in January 2008 on WUPX’s Juicy Goat Knee Faucet Left Turn Correct English Navel Dawn radio show with Jeremy and Thor Bloodbath.

He had an LP in the works titled “Seagull,” but that album was scrapped when Graham formed Sparrow Tree, his new band. He is a folker at heart.

The event is free to the public and sponsored by the Friends of the Florence County Library. Light snacks and refreshments will be served.
