FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the Florence Natural Resource Center in the lower level. Coffee and snacks will be served and door prizes will be drawn at the close of the meeting. All ages are welcome.

This month’s presentation will be given by Michael and Ruth Riesch of the Earthaven Museum, which is located in Gillett, Wis. A very worthwhile museum to see; check out their website for more information. Their presentation is entitled, “Geology and History of Iron Mining in the Lake Superior Region.”
