Cooking demonstration at the library

Tuesday

— Eggrolls with Ming Louie, 1 p.m. at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain.

Children in fifth through 12th grades can find out how to make eggrolls they then will be able to eat. They also will learn tips and tricks for using chopsticks. Registration is required; inquire at the circulation desk or call 906-774-1218. Sponsored by the Iron Mountain-Kingsford Women’s Club and Dr. Dale and Lucy Shampo.

— Sweet and Sour Chicken Demo with Ming Louie, 6 p.m. at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain.

Children in fifth through 12th grades and adults can watch a cooking demonstration on making Chinese sweet and sour chicken and then sample it. Wednesday

— A Novel Bunch Book Club, 2 p.m. at the Dickinson County Library-Solomonson Branch in Norway.

— Soundz of Time: Lost in Paradise, 6 to 7 p.m. at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain.

This high-energy vocal music duo will entertain with a variety of hit songs. This program is for all ages. Sponsored by the Friends of the Library.

Thursday

— Out to Launch at Out to Lunch, 11:45 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. in the parking lot across from the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain.

The library will provide fun, space-themed crafts for children to make while listening to the various musicians at the Out to Lunch concert series. The area is at a table near the stage. For all ages. Sponsored by Edwards Automotive.

— Adventures with Cursive, 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain.

Brush up on cursive writing skills using practice sheets and video demonstrations. For high school-age teens and adults.

Sunday

— Summer Space Cinema, 1:30 p.m. at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain.

Keep cool during the hot days of summer by watching movies at the library. Each week will feature a different space-themed film. All movies will be rated G, PG, or PG-13, so the whole family can attend. Also, the last screening of each month will offer a sensory-friendly atmosphere.
