IRON MOUNTAIN — The Iron Mountain-Kingsford General Federation Women’s Club will meet at noon Friday, Sept. 6, at the Pine Grove County Club in Iron Mountain.

The menu will be half of a Monte Cristo sandwich and soup, along with coffee and dessert, for $15.

The guest speaker will be Connie Tresedder, author, motivational speaker and instructor at Bay College West.

The District V meeting of all GFWC clubs in the Upper Peninsula will be Friday, Sept. 27, at the Chippewa Club in Iron Mountain, beginning at 8:30 a.m. Registration forms are due by Sept. 20 and can be sent to Iron Mountain-Kingsford Women’s Club, treasurer, P.O. Box 2823, Kingsford, MI 49802.

All club members are encouraged to attend. The guest speaker will be Bill Cummings of the Menominee Range Historical Museums. A tour also is planned of the Ford display and World War II glider at the museum.

A pizza party is planned for Thursday, Sept. 26, at the Comfort Inn on North Stephenson Avenue.
