POWERS — In past years Grace Lutheran Church Ladies of Powers hosted a chili feed and bake sale early in deer hunting season for the hunters and area residents to enjoy. 

The purpose of the chili feed was a fundraiser for the Lutheran Youth Group. 

This year the Lutheran Ladies will have a pie and bake sale the day before Thanksgiving at the church for raise money for the group. 

The public can get their pies and other baked goods to help reduce the hustle and bustle of cooking for Thanksgiving by stopping in at the “little white church” on Highway U.S. 2 and Main Street in Powers.
