MARSP offers foundation scholarships

LANSING– The Michigan Association of Retired School Personnel Foundation has awarded scholarships of up to $1,000 since 1996 to working members of the Michigan Public School Employees Retirement System who want to improve their position in the workforce through continuing education at four-year institutions, community colleges, technical or vocational schools, or seminars or workshops from Michigan professional organizations.

Scholarships are available for all public school employees, no matter what their current position is, as long as they are furthering their education in an area that will be beneficial to working in the public school arena. Scholarships applications for the July 1, 2022, to June 30, 2023, academic year are being accepted now until April 1.

The printed application can be mailed to MARSP Foundation, P.O. Box 23214, Lansing, MI 48909 or faxed to 517-337-8560.
