Live music Thursday at the Crystal Theatre

Bryan Drewyor

CRYSTAL FALLS — The Crystal Theatre will present One Human Band, featuring singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Bryan Drewyor at 7 p.m. Thursday in the theatre’s final Third Thursday Local Concert Series.

Calling himself One Human Band, Drewyor performs an acoustic program with soulful vocals and rootsy Americana influences. He plays a variety of instruments including piano, guitar, harmonica, accordion, mandolin, ukulele, keyboards, and percussion.

An award-winning singer-songwriter with an extensive catalog of original Americana songs, Drewyor has been playing in the Great Lakes region for the past two decades and has toured throughout the states.

Drewyor explains the evolution of the name “One Human Band.”

“It was an idea that came to me after many years calling myself a one-man band,” says Drewyor. “I wanted to come up with an idea that described my style of performing as well as a suggestion of a humanitarian approach to my songwriting. One Human Band is a name that shows how we are all interconnected in infinite ways and patterns and songs that I sing show that love is the catalyst to our connections,” says Drewyor.

Crystal Theatre plans to continue the Third Thursday Local Concert Series in the fall after a busy summer season of performances. Tickets are $10 at the door.
