K of C Council 1585’s ‘Great Spring Giveaway’

The Bishop Baraga Knights of Columbus 1585 Council has announced the “Great Spring Giveaway 2023,” donating $5,000 to several organizations in the community. They included four local Catholic parishes for Faith Formation programs, at Immaculate Conception, Queen of Peace, St. Mary and St. Joseph and American Martyrs, $500 each — $2,000 total; Holy Name Catholic High School, $500; Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center Volunteer Services, $500; Carmelite Nuns for surplice cassock fund, $1,350; Saint Peter Cathedral in Marquette for repairing the bell towers, renovating the choir loft and improving the sanctuary, $650. All support the Knights of Columbus’ mission.
