IRON MOUNTAIN –Dickinson County Community Chorus rehearsals are in progress for the “Sounds of Christmas” concert.

The adult choir of 88 singers is enthusiastically rehearsing to bring the community a fantastic concert.

The children’s chorus, under the direction of Dawn Kranz, will begin rehearsals at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday in the Fellowship Hall of the First Presbyterian Church, 395 Hamilton Ave. in Kingsford, and will continue on the same nights as the adult choir.

Students from kindergarten through sixth grade with excellent behavior, unchanged voices and the ability to sing in tune are welcome to participate.

The Christmas concert is set for Nov. 27 and 28 in the Kingsford High School auditorium. For information and updates, go to www.communitychorus.org.
