More Halloween parties planned this weekend

IRON MOUNTAIN — Local bars and establishments are continuing the Halloween fun this weekend.

They include:

It’s a Cher and Cher (look) Alike contest tonight at the Island Resort and Casino in Harris. The contest begins at 9:30 p.m., with judging to be done by Lisa McClowry from The Beat Goes On Cher Show. Participants must be dressed as their favorite Cher persona.

Sol Blu in Iron Mountain will offer spooky daily Halloween specials for Halloween.

Enjoy an evening with Next Myle on Friday at Famer’s at Pine Mountain Resort in Iron Mountain for their annual Halloween Bash. The local variety band will be taking the stage from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Judging for the costume contest takes place at midnight with prizes awarded.

It’s Scary-oke time on Friday at Mayme’s in Iron Mountain. Mane Event Karaoke will host a Halloween Bash starting at 8 p.m.

Plan to journey to Dan & Deb’s Northwoods Bar in Amberg, Wis., on Friday for their Halloween party. Party will go from 7 to 11 with Karaoke by Vicki & Dave. They will judge costumes at 10 p.m.

Round 2 in Iron Mountain will host a Halloween costume party from 5 p.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

Thor’s Wolverine Den in Crivitz, Wis., invites area ghosts and goblins to their Halloween festivities Friday. The party, which begins at 9 p.m., will include DJ music, drink specials, and prizes awarded throughout the night. The costume contest will be announced at the witching hour — midnight.

Firelane Bar & Grill of Athelstane, Wis., has a fang-tastic fun planned Friday for their annual Halloween party. DJ Lance will provide entertainment from 8 p.m. to midnight. They will also have a costume contest. They invited everyone to travel the Haunted Trail Saturday and Sunday. The walk starts at 7 p.m. Admission is $10.

Dress in your creative best for the Halloween Bash Friday at Woody’s Bar and Grill in Crivitz, Wis. The party will start with DJ Jake at 7 p.m., with a costume contest at 10 p.m. Proceeds from the event go to support the Crivitz Community Ed Children’s Theater.

The Wild Horse Saloon in Iron Mountain welcomes all witches and warlocks to its Halloween festivities from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Saturday. DJ Curio will entertain for the night. They will have prizes for the best costume and drink specials.

Join Robert Norton and Wyatt Aderman of the local group The Descendants in Felch Township for The Red Arrow Tavern’s Haunted House party on Saturday. The duo will start playing a variety of acoustic selections starting at 8 p.m. They will have spooky spirits and prizes for the best dressed of the night. Judging will be at 10 p.m.

Way Dam Resort of Crystal Falls celebrates the orange and black season on Saturday. Festivities kick off at 6 p.m. and everyone is encouraged to come in costume for their annual contest.

Country Roads Bar and Grill of Wausaukee, Wis., has planned a Halloween Party on Saturday, with music, costume contest and drink specials.

For those who can’t get enough Halloween fun, take a trip to the Carney American Legion Post on Saturday. Mane Event Karaoke will entertain the crowd from 8 p.m. to midnight, with costume judging at 10:30 p.m.

Paris Nights Entertainment will be providing the music for the Halloween party Saturday at Uncle Mike’s Corner Pub & Grill in Crivitz, Wis. The party will begin at 8 p.m. and feature spooky treats, drink specials and a costume contest.

Shotski’s of Eagle River, Wis., will do Halloween in their traditional style on Saturday. The party features the local band Next Myle from 8 p.m. to midnight. They will also host a costume contest during the evening.

Richard’s Supper Club in Dunbar, Wis., presents Halloween in the Holly Room on Saturday. Festivities start at 7 p.m. with free pool and jukebox. They will also have cash prizes for best costume and drink specials for the evening.

Pine Grove in Republic welcomes back patrons for another round of Halloween fun with Bash 2 on Saturday. Marquette area band Diversion will play a variety of ’70s, through today music from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Eastern time. They will host a costume contest as well as have Jell-O shots.
