The Saintly Stitchers Quilt Guild of Norway recently completed its annual fleece blanket project for the Upper Peninsula Honor Flight. The club feels honored to be able make the blankets for the veterans who travel to Washington D.C. They made more than 40 blankets with labels for this month’s flights, including an all-women veterans flight. Donations can be made by contacting the U.P. Honor Flight at 906-280-2871. The guild meets at 6 p.m. the first Monday of each month at St. Mary Catholic Church Hall. New members are always welcome.
