IRON MOUNTAIN — The Dickinson County Library and branches have several events planned for the week. They include:

— Teacup Gardens: 2 to 3 p.m. today at the North Dickinson Branch in Felch Township and 6 to 7 p.m. at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain; and 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Solomonson Branch in Norway.

Adults and teens will be given the necessary materials to make and decorate their very own teacup gardens. Registration is required; call 906-774-1218.

— Bow Wows and Books: 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Solomonson Branch in Norway.

Patrons of all ages are invited to read to therapy dogs Azul and Belle. Registration is required; call 906-774-1218.

— Messy Bubble Adventures: 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the North Dickinson Branch in Felch Township.

Children ages 3 to 12 will participate in bubble painting, cotton ball throwing and sidewalk chalk.

— Book Breakdowns with Anna Rose Johnson: noon to 12:45 p.m. Saturday at the Dickinson County Library in Iron Mountain.

U.P. Notable Books author Anna Rose Johnson will discuss her tween-aged novels, including her newest release, “The Blossoming Summer.”
