FLORENCE, Wis. — The Northwoods Geology Club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in the lower level of the Florence Natural Resource Center — follow the Wisconsin Division of Motor Vehicles signs to the parking lot.

Ruth and Michael Riesch of the Earthaven Museum will give a presentation titled “Geology and History of Iron Mining in the Lake Superior Region.”

The Rieschs have done several presentations over the years and all have been well attended. Community members and visitors are all welcome to hear this interesting program.

People of all ages can attend club meetings. Door prizes are drawn at the end of the meeting.
