Saddle club to have trail rides
HOMESTEAD, Wis. — The Northern Saddle Club invites the public to come ride with them.
Club group rides with a potluck will now take place monthly on the second Saturday, alternating between Halls Creek and Bush Lake Flats Trailheads.
Ride with the group and make new friends at 10 a.m. that Saturday or by yourself at any time. Those riding with the group will be required to turn in a copy of their horse’s negative Coggins Test.
The schedule includes:
— June 14, 4 p.m. potluck, campfire to follow at Halls Creek;
— July 12, 4 p.m. meeting, Bush Lake Flats;
— Aug. 9, Halls Creek;
— Sept. 11, Bush Lake Flats;
— Oct. 11, fall ride/fundraiser, Halls Creek.
New logo shirts are for sale for $20 each. Cost to join the club is $10 per person or $15 for family. Members do not have to have a horse to join — many members enjoy helping out during events.
