MANISTIQUE – Ann Deming has been promoted to vice president mortgage and consumer lending manager at mBank located in Escanaba.

The move will be effective Nov. 4, and follows the retirement of Jackie Menhennick.

Deming has worked in the Upper Peninsula mortgage industry for more than 27 years in various roles including lender, underwriter, processor, and manager.

Over the past year she has been instrumental in supporting the growth of mBank’s mortgage department. She is an active member in her community and has participated in many local organizations.

“I am honored to succeed Jackie in this role. I have worked beside her for several years and have witnessed her leadership and her success in helping mBank through a period of expansion. I look forward to continuing the enhancement of this company and working with its talented employees,” Deming said.
