IRON MOUNTAIN –Erickson Jewelers began in Iron Mountain in 2009 with a vision of one day finding a home downtown.

That came true this summer, as Randy and Sherri Erickson moved the business to a recently renovated building at 511 S. Stephenson Ave. that at one time was Frankini Jewelers.

“We are honored to be able to make this a jewelry store again,” Randy Erickson said. A history wall in the building has been started to honor the Frankini family, which the Ericksons hope to add to with help from local residents.

Erickson Jewelers specializes in diamonds and custom designs, which the Ericksons have been doing together for more than 20 years. They help people redesign past treasures or create a new piece of jewelry to cherish.
