NIAGARA, Wis. — A new acupuncturist has been added at Radiant Natural Health Clinic in Niagara, Wis.

Colleen Teska is a doctor of acupuncture and oriental medicine, a licensed acupuncturist, and an American College of Sports Medicine certified clinical exercise physiologist.

She earned her doctoral degree with a pain management focus and a master’s degree in acupuncture and oriental medicine from AOMA Graduate School of Integrative Medicine in Austin, Texas.

During her time at AOMA, Teska received extensive training and more than 1,400 clinic hours in a variety of oriental medicine techniques. As a doctoral student, she was an extern in the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Department of the Austin VA Outpatient Clinic.

A native of Elkhorn, Wis., Teska has a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in strength and conditioning from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. She has 10 years of experience working in hospitals and clinics, including the University of Chicago Medicine as a cardiopulmonary rehabilitation and stress-testing specialist. She also trained in ballet and modern dance at the University of Illinois, University of Wisconsin and Dancespace NY, danced professionally, and has done teaching and choreographing at local dance studios throughout southeast Wisconsin, Chicago, and Austin.
