IRON MOUNTAIN –The 2019 Iron Mountain Farmers and Artisans Indoor Market will be 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, May 11, at the Iron Mountain School’s Izzo-Mariucci Center on the corner of Carpenter and West A Street.

The market is managed and operated by the Farmer’s Market Executive Committee under the auspices of Iron Mountain DDA/Main Street.

The market’s produce vendors will have fresh mushrooms, dried vegetables, maple syrup, eggs, jam, herb plants, and meat. Artists and crafters have a variety of high-quality products available for sale.

“We hope the public comes down to support our market. We have some new vendors that will be with us this year — Nooakes Farm, selling fresh and dried herbs and live plants, and Pilot’s Pastures, selling locally produced beef and pork. Shiitake Creek will have fresh mushrooms for sale. This would be a great opportunity to get something special for mom for Mother’s Day,” said Nancy Schaub, market manager.

The summer market starts June 1.
