VA nurse retires

Registered nurse Louise Faymonville of Iron Mountain recently retired from the Oscar G. Johnson VA Medical Center after almost three decades of federal service. Faymonville, center, received her retirement certificate from Andrea Collins, associate director for nursing and patient care, left. At right is Kim Nelson, RN, assistant nurse manager of the Community Living Center. Faymonville was born and raised in Chicago and graduated from Ravenswood Hospital of Chicago in 1979 as a registered nurse. She started her VA career in February 1999 at the Iron Mountain VA Medical Center. Faymonville served on the medical/surgical floor for 18 years and most recently as a hospice nurse on Community Living Center Unit.
