IRON MOUNTAIN –Marshfield Medical Center-Dickinson now offers local access to a pediatric rheumatologist once a month.

Dr. Nicholas McClellan is Marshfield Children’s Hospital team member who will visit MMC-D to see patients one Thursday a month.

He can treat pediatric patients for inflammatory and autoimmune conditions that cause joint pain (arthritis), muscle pain or weakness (myositis), blood vessel swelling (vasculitis) and other body systems.

He provides care such as joint injections or arthrocentesis and clinical diagnosis procedures that include nailfold capillaroscopy, management of immunologic treatment and biologics for autoimmune conditions.
