IRON MOUNTAIN — Erica Huss, Central Upper Peninsula Small Business Support Hub program manager, will lead a Grant Writing 101 session at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday in room 231 at Bay College Iron Mountain.

This workshop will focus on how to fund a small business using grants and can benefit those new to grant writing as well as those looking to refine skills. Participants can become eligible for the Small Business Support Hub Grant, plus network and gather resources. Lunch will be provided.

In November 2023, the Michigan Economic Development Corporation announced $73 million in grant awards to establish Small Business Support Hubs across the state. The Central U.P. Small Business Support Hub covers Alger, Baraga, Delta, Dickinson, Marquette, Menominee and Schoolcraft counties.
