BEECHER, Wis. — The first Tree Lighting Ceremony at Beecher Town Hall Park is set for Dec. 6.

Activities will begin at 5:30 p.m. with the lighting of the tree at 6 p.m. There will be crafts for the children to take home for their tree. Singing will be lead by Shirley Schultz. The local Boy Scout Troop will have hot chocolate and cookies for sale. Parents are encouraged to bring an ornament for the tree if possible. Santa will also be there to take the children’s wishes.

Organizers are trying to plan hayrides. If someone is interested in bringing their wagon and tractor, or would like to help with any of the activities contact Nada Surface at 906-221-1921.
