IM police report released
IRON MOUNTAIN — Iron Mountain Director of Police and Fire Services Ed Mattson has released his monthly activity report for June.
The police department had 663 calls logged, 31 criminal arrests, 21 traffic arrests, 52 total arrests, 70 new criminal investigations, 211 new non-criminal investigations, 39 traffic crashes, 27 traffic citations issued, 19 sex offender verifications or updates, 21 animal complaints, and 5,385 miles driven.
New criminal investigations included five non-aggravated assaults, two felonious assaults, two burglaries, one illegal entry, three larceny or theft, three check fraud or forgery, two malicious destruction of property, two shoplifting, four dangerous drugs, one child pornography, two child abuse or neglect, 19 contempt of court, one resisting or obstructing, one liquor violation, three disorderly drunk, three operating while intoxicated, six traffic offense, three found property, three death investigations, and four assists to another agency.
