County raises Lake Antoine park camping costs

IRON MOUNTAIN — Dickinson County is increasing rates for long-term camping at Lake Antoine while nightly rates stay the same.

Long-term lease rates for county residents will rise to $510 for one month, an increase of $30; $900 for two months, up by $60; and $1,260 for three months, up by $180.

For non-residents, it’s $570 for one month, an increase of $30; $1,020 for two months, up by $60; and $1,440 for three months, an increase of $180.

Daily camping fees remain $20 for county residents and $24 for non-residents.

The cost for a firewood bundle will rise to $7, up from $5. Septic service truck fees will go to $10, up from $7.

The dump station will remain free for campers, with a $5 fee for non-campers.

The cost for pavilion or bandshell rental will remain at $75, but there will now be a damage clause of $150. A former $25 refund clause will be discontinued.
