CWO4 USMC (Ret.) Michael Miller

IRON MOUNTAIN — Michael Miller of Iron Mountain was awarded the Marine Corps League’s Marine of the Year at the annual Wisconsin MCL Convention on May 20 in Iron Mountain.

CWO4 USMC (Ret.) Miller served 22 years as a Marine and retired in 1998. Michael is a member of the Niagara Marine Corps League Detachment who was recognized for his civic contributions, as well as his overall contributions to the Marine Corps League and veterans of the Dickinson County Area.

He is current commandant of the Niagara Detachment and the Toys for Tots coordinator for the area.

This honor is given only to those who continue to represent the greatest traditions of the U.S. Marine Corps and the United States of America.
