TFT Nature at Night summer series returns

EAGLE RIVER, Wis. — BMO Harris Bank in Eagle River is again sponsoring Trees For Tomorrow’s Nature at Night summer evening lecture series.

TFT is an environmental education center in Eagle River. Each year during the summer, the organization offers several different weekly programs to the community.

One of those programs is Nature at Night, a lecture-based program series, targeted towards adults and older children. Local experts discuss a different topic each week in environmental sciences and natural resource management. For 2022, Nature at Night is scheduled 7 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays through Aug. 2 at TFT’s main education hall.

“We are fortunate to be in an area where there are many professionals in both the public and private sector who are willing to share their knowledge with our community,” said program coordinator Todd Starling. This years’ lineup includes speakers affiliated with organizations such as Wisconsin Headwaters Invasives Partnership and Vilas County Land and Water Conservation Department.

Because of BMO Harris sponsorship, admission to the programs is free of charge, though TFT does have a recommended donation of at least $2 per person to help the organization continue to achieve its mission of sustainable resource management education. This will be the eighth year that BMO Harris has sponsored the program.

“We are very thankful to have BMO Harris Bank as such a committed partner in support of our programs,” said TFT executive director Cheryl Todea.

Those who are interested in viewing the entire schedule of Nature at Night summer lecture series can find the lineup on TFT’s website at www.treesfortomorrow.com/visit.

The Nature at Night schedule can be found under Weekly Summer Programs. No pre-registration is required.
