NORWAY — The eighth annual U.P. Veterans War Memorial and Park Golf Scramble will take place Saturday, June 10, at Oak Crest Golf Course in Norway.

This is a four-person scramble fundraising event for the memorial located at the top of Pine Mountain. The funds raised will be used for in-progress expansion and general maintenance of the memorial and park.

Cost is $80 per player with dinner included. There will be hole-in-one contests, surprise hole contests, 50/50 drawings, non-alcoholic beverages, and door prize drawings.

This event will be limited to 30 four-person teams, or 120 players. Single players will be assigned to a team. Check-in is from 7 to 8:45 a.m. and golfing starts shortly after.
