A ride in style

First grade student Gus Hayes was caught spreading kindness throughout his class and following the rules. North Elementary School is hosting a Citizenship Award “competition” for students from early kindergarten through fourth grade. Students are nominated by educational assistants in the school, and put into a drawing for the chance to be driven to school by School Liaison Officer Matt Opolka in his police car. Gus and his sister Bella rode to school in Opolka’s car.
