Dickinson sheriff issues report
IRON MOUNTAIN — Dickinson County Sheriff Aaron Rochon has issued his monthly report for April.
The road patrol served 86 civil process papers, investigated 192 complaints, handled 21 accidents, issued 42 citations and 283 verbal warnings, made 28 arrests — 10 of which were for outstanding warrants and three of which were for felonies — and completed 144 property checks.
The K-9 officer was involved in five searches, all for local agencies, and had a deployment resulting in an arrest.
The correctional center had 78 bookings, with an average daily booking of 2.6 and an average daily population of 54.1
The dispatch center handled 542 911 calls, 3,818 non-911 calls, 1,783 calls for law enforcement service, 469 calls for ambulance service, and 52 calls for fire service.
Sixteen individuals assigned to the sheriff’s work van logged 96 hours at the sheriff’s office/courthouse/garage, Feeding America food distributions, local food pickups, Dickinson-Iron Community Services Agency, Lake Antoine Park and Iron Mountain’s Cemetery Park and City Park.
