Fair fundraising banquet Saturday

Doors will open at 4 p.m. A buffet dinner by Loretta’s Catering will start at 6 p.m. Winners of the raffles will be announced at 7 p.m. Meal tickets are $50, $30 for children ages 2 to 8 and free for those younger than 2. A reserved table for eight is $500, which includes eight meal tickets and $200 worth of raffle tickets. The event also will have bucket and Kentucky Derby raffles as well as silent auction items and 50-50 raffles. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online with PayPals or Venmo. Tickets also are on sale at Parker’s Feed and Supply, Norway City Hall, Finch Law PC or through any board member. Proceeds from the event go toward supporting the fair and grounds improvements, which this year’s plans including cameras and security system, paint for the rotunda; windows, door and roof repairs for exhibition row and the exhibition buildings; and appliances and equipment for the office building kitchen.
