Hector “Buck” LaVigne adjusts one of the hanging baskets at LaVigne’s Greenhouse, on the corner of Hemlock and Ludington streets in Iron Mountain. He operates the business with his wife, Shirley, and son Mike. They are open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The business has been in operation since 1977. They have a variety of locally grown flowers, vegetables and herbs and, new this year, they have added a few succulents.
