Norway names top seniors in Class of 2025

ANTHONY "AJ" GALLINO

NORWAY — Norway High School has named the top eight seniors in its Class of 2025.

They are Anthony Gallino, Cole Baij, Bryce Adams, Dallas DeBernardi, Emma Dube, Cole Davy, Mary Cavagnetto and Sean Dowrick.

— Anthony “AJ” Gallino is the son of Katie Pontbriand and Jeff Gallino.

At NHS, he was a member of the student council, Youth Advisory Committee, Leo Club, Quiz Bowl team and National Honor Society. Gallino also played basketball and baseball.

He plans to major in political science at the University of Michigan.

COLE BAIJ

— Cole Baij is the son of Karen and Brett Baij.

He was a member of the student council, YAC and Leo Club while at NHS. He played baseball, basketball and football. He also spent time tutoring and volunteering with the Big Brothers-Big Sisters program.

Baij plans to major in chemical engineering at Michigan Technological University.

— Bryce Adams is the son of Jen and Tony Adams.

While at NHS, he was a member of the student council, YAC and Leo Club. Adams also participated in baseball, basketball and football, as well as volunteered with the Big Brothers-Big Sisters program.

BRYCE ADAMS

He plans to major in finance at Central Michigan University.

— Dallas DeBernardi is the son of Tasha and Brian DeBernardi.

He was a member of the YAC and Key Club, as well as a class representative in student council at NHS. He participated in football and golf as well.

DeBernardi was committed to community service and accumulated more than 200 hours of volunteering.

He plans to major in business management at Michigan State University.

DALLAS DeBERNARDI

— Emma Dube is the daughter of Jamie and Mark Dube.

During her time at NHS, she participated in tennis, co-op swim team, softball and junior varsity basketball.

Dube was also a member of the Key Club, YAC, Leo Club, Spanish Club and student council, as well as a volunteer with the Big Brothers-Big Sisters program.

She plans to pursue a doctorate of occupational therapy at the University of Mary in Bismarck, North Dakota.

— Cole Davy is the son of Sarah and Donald Davy.

EMMA DUBE

At NHS he was a member of the track team and co-op soccer team. Outside of school, Davy enjoys spending time in the gym, skiing and mountain biking.

He plans to attend Bay College in the fall and then transfer to Michigan Technological University to major in engineering.

— Mary Cavagnetto is the daughter of Jacqui and Stan Cavagnetto.

At NHS, she participated in basketball, tennis and track and field. Cavagnetto was also president of both the YAC and Leo Clubs, as well as a member of the Spanish Club, Key Club and a volunteer with the Big Brothers-Big Sisters Program.

She plans to major in business management at Michigan State University.

COLE DAVY

— Sean Dowrick is the son of Tara Zoeller and David Dowrick.

He was a member of the student council, YAC and the Leo Club at NHS.

Dowrick plans to major in construction management at Central Michigan University.

The Norway High School graduation ceremony will be at 6 p.m. Friday in the Fine Arts Center. Students will serve as speakers.
