Footprints of Michigan heads to IM to serve veterans
LANSING — Footprints of Michigan will be traveling from Lansing to Iron Mountain today to provide support to local veterans and their spouses at the Dickinson County Veterans Picnic at Lake Antoine Park from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Through its Soles4Vets Program, Footprints of Michigan will be distributing free footwear to veterans and their spouses as a small but meaningful token of appreciation for their service and sacrifice.
“We travel the state helping those in need, and this time we give back to our veterans with our Soles4Vets program, as a small token of appreciation for their dedication and service to our country,” said Geronimo Lerma, executive director of Footprints of Michigan.
Footwear will be available on a first come, first served basis and supplies are limited.
This outreach is part of Footprints of Michigan’s ongoing mission to serve those in need throughout the state, especially those who have served us.
