IRON RIVER — The Iron Area Health Foundation Golf Scramble Fundraiser on June 1 at Young’s Golf and Recreational Complex was a great success.

The scramble involved 32 teams, 120 golfers and more than 35 hole sponsors.

The IAHF will use all of the proceeds from the scramble fundraiser to support healthy living initiatives in Iron County.

Some of the projects the IAHF has supported in the past year are the purchase of multiple AED machines, providing nine scholarships to graduating high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree in a health-related field of study after high school, supporting the “Pink Out” for Cancer, first aid supplies to youth organizations, youth leadership groups, anti-bullying and anti illegal substance abuse programs, to mention only a few.

The golf scramble would not have been possible without the support of many individuals, businesses and organizations.

Starting at $3.50/week.
