MARINETTE, Wis. — A Menomonee Falls, Wis., teen was killed in a UTV crash Saturday off of Hobart Lane in the town of Niagara, Wis., said Marinette County Sheriff Randy Miller.

A UTV operated by Gabriel N. Avila-Neuheisel, 18, was traveling on a dirt trail on private property when he lost control and rolled over at about 4:46 p.m., the sheriff said a news release. Avila-Neuheisel, who was not wearing a helmet or seatbelt, was ejected from the UTV and sustained fatal injuries, Miller said.

The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office and the Marinette County Medical Examiner’s Office. Also assisting were members of the Niagara Police Department, Niagara Fire Department, Niagara Rescue and Integrity Care EMS.
