MARINETTE, Wis. — A Menomonee Falls, Wis., teen was killed in a UTV crash Saturday off of Hobart Lane in the town of Niagara, Wis., Marinette County Sheriff Randy Miller said.

Gabriel N. Avila-Neuheisel, 18, was on a dirt trail on private property when he lost control of the UTV and it rolled at about 4:46 p.m., the sheriff said a news release. Avila-Neuheisel, who was not wearing a helmet or seatbelt, was ejected from the UTV and sustained fatal injuries, Miller said in a news release.

The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office and the Marinette County Medical Examiner’s Office. Also assisting were members of the Niagara Police Department, Niagara Fire Department, Niagara Rescue and Integrity Care EMS.
