Thomas Creed

LAKE MILLS, Wis. – Thomas “Tom” Creed went to be with his Lord and Savior on Oct. 27, 2015, at the age of 59. He was at his home, surrounded by his family, in Lake Mills.

Tom is survived by his mother, Mary Jane Creed of Iron Mountain; his loving wife of 39 years, Suzanne (Forgette) Creed of Lake Mills; his children, Michael (Lynn) Creed, Mark Creed and Katie (Craig) Cummings; his grandchildren, Mason Cummings, Saige Creed, Madelyn Creed and Elijah Creed; his siblings, Theresa McNiff, Patricia Dulan, Kathleen Harsch, Joseph Creed, Jeanne Berdinner and Elizabeth Holmquist; nieces, nephews; and many other family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father John P Creed and his brothers John and Jeremiah Creed.

Tom was born on Nov. 7, 1955, in Iron Mountain, to Mary Jane and John P Creed. He graduated from Iron Mountain High School in 1974 and married Suzzie in 1976.

Tom was an accomplished salesman and was well-respected in his field; he truly enjoyed his work because of his clients. He was a witty and dedicated individual who loved going for scenic drives with his wife and attending sporting events.

He was also passionate about his family, friends and outdoor projects. He was active in his local church and a dedicated member of the Ishpeming Blue Notes Drum and Bugle Corp for many years.

A celebration of life service is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 14, at First Presbyterian Church, 395 Hamilton Ave. in Kingsford.

Visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the church with a service and luncheon to immediately follow. Pastor Mike March will officiate the ceremony.

All are welcome to attend and celebrate Tom’s life. The family would like to thank Katie Cummings for giving him a world class send off to heaven through the use of her nursing background to make sure her dad was very well cared for in his final days on earth.
