Carol F. Spice

She was born on Nov. 27, 1928, in Niagara, to the late John and Nora Buehler. Carol graduated from Niagara High School and moved to Neenah to work at Kimberly Clark.

She married Charles Spice on April 23, 1949, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Neenah, and raised four children together.

Carol always had a strong faith and was a longtime member at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Neenah.

Carol always stayed active by taking walks, sewing, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children: Cynthia O’Brien, Tom Spice, and Lisa Pontillo. She is further survived by her twin sister, Clarice (Lloyd) Kleinhenz; sister, Donna (Robert) Berganini; and brothers, Maynard Buehler and Gary Buehler.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Spice; son, Daniel Spice; sister, Janice Stoveken; brother Kenneth Buehler; and infant brother Clayton Buehler.

The funeral service for Carol will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 19, at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 809 S. Commercial Street in Neenah.

Visitation will be held at the church on Friday from 10 a.m. until the hour of the service.
