Judith Lucas

She was born Nov. 8, 1952, in Ishpeming, daughter of the late Honore and Shirley (Barcome) Beauchamp. Judy was a lifelong resident of Hardwood and graduated from Felch High School in 1970. She married Terry Lucas on Feb. 27, 1971, at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo.

Judy’s family was the center of her life. She truly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Judy enjoyed hunting with her husband and usually showed him how it was done. She loved the outdoors, camping, and working in the yard. Judy always put others first.

She is survived by her husband, Terry; three children, Madge (Rodney) Carlson of Foster City, Jenny (Tim) Dario of Felch, and Wayne (Susan) Lucas of Hardwood; six grandchildren, Chelsey (Tyler) Nickels, Chase and Andi Carlson, Dylan and Ciara Dario, and Samantha Lucas; two brothers, Randy (Jody) Beauchamp of Kingsford and Scott (Pam) Beauchamp of Niagara, Wis.; two brothers-in-law, Billy (Mary Lynn) Lucas and Brook (Sue) Lucas. She is also survived by many special friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Honore and Shirley Beauchamp; her in-laws, Sam and Patty Ann Lucas; one brother, Wayne Beauchamp; and one sister, Lynn Fields.

At Judy’s request, private family services will be held.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Dickinson County Cancer Unit Loan Closet, 1401 Carpenter Ave., Iron Mountain, Mich. 49801.
