Mark Phillip Celello

Mark, a resident of Broussard, La., was the son of the late Joseph Anthony Celello and the former Dorothy Mary Roberts.

He is survived by his wife, Diana Celello; daughters, Jenifer Moreau and husband Jason; Nicole Jarreau and husband Glynn II; Lauren Louviere and husband Jeremy; and Katie Linkhart and husband, William; step-children, Megan Grover and husband Ken; Lauren Druck and husband Jake; and Kyle Kuhn; siblings, Honorable Richard Celello and wife Kristi; Maryanne Zambon and husband Mike; David Celello and wife Lisa; Scott Celello and wife Shelly; Nancy Santini; and Michael Celello and wife Andrea; as well as several beautiful nieces and nephews.

His greatest joys, however, came from his ten grandchildren. To say he was proud of them is an understatement. He bragged about them to anyone who would listen. He only saw their value and never their faults. The light in his eyes came from Dylan Moreau, Mason Moreau, Jackson Moreau, Lucas Jarreau, Knox Grover, Sawyer Grover, Logan Louviere, Liam Linkhart and Elliot Linkhart. And lastly, Papa’s sweet little princess Caroline Jarreau.

It gives us great comfort to know that he is welcomed at the gates of Heaven by his son, Marc Anthony Celello; as well as his mother and father.

The family requests that visiting hours be observed 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7 at Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers.

The family would like to thank the medical care team who assisted in his care over the last four years.
