Elsie Julia Klump

Elsie was born on April 17, 1919, in Chicago to Joseph and Elsie Schmidt.

After WWII, she married Clarence Klump, a U.S. Army veteran who served in Germany.

Elsie was preceded in death by her loving husband, Clare; and her sister and best friend, Margaret (Peggy).

Although they had no children of their own, her nephew, Charles, was like a son to them.

She is survived by Charles Nussbaumer (Kara) and Charles’ daughter, Barbara (Duane) and her three children; her Christian and faithful friends, Dorothy Burkhart and Peggy; and many loving friends and neighbors.

We would like to thank Maryhill Manor Nursing Home for all the love, care and attention they provided during the years Elsie lived there.
