Richard Anderson
KINGSFORD — Richard Anderson died peacefully on Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019, at his current residence, Freeman Nursing Home.
He was born on Oct. 10, 1941, to Rueben and Lorraine Anderson of Kingsford.
Richard attended Kingsford High School and graduated with the Class of 1959. He went on to attended Michigan Technological University, graduating in 1963 with a degree in electrical engineering.
He was a member of St. Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Kingsford.
Richard enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his nieces and nephews.
Richard was preceded in death by his father and mother, Rueben and Lorraine Anderson; and his brother, Charles Anderson.
He is survived by his brother, Joe Anderson of Kingsford; one niece; two nephews; two great-nieces; and five great-nephews.
There will be a graveside service at 11:15 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11 at the Quinnesec Cemetery.
The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon and Nash Funeral Home of Iron Mountain with the arrangements.
