CYNTHIA ANN DOYAL

KINGSFORD — Cynthia Ann Doyal, 43, of Kingsford, passed away at her home on Jan. 16, 2020. She was born on April 8, 1976, in La Miranda, Calif., to Alice Stapish and William Doyal.

She graduated from Stephenson High School in 1994 and went on to study public relations, first at Bay de Noc Community College, and then on to Northern Michigan University where she graduated with her bachelor’s degree. Her most recent job was as a water consultant at Norway Springs in Norway. She loved all of the people she met while working as a part of their sales team.

Cynthia was always willing to lend a hand or an ear to anyone who needed it. She was a tireless cheerleader to Marissa and her many “bonus” children, a taxi driver whenever you were in a bind, a cherished caregiver to Grandma Carol, and sold many a snack at the Skiters snack shack.

Though she suffered from many health issues over the last five years, she never lost her zest for life or her selfless personality.

She is survived by her daughter, Marissa (Tyrone McCue); her grandchildren, Bentley and Zayden, whom she loved and spoiled as often as she could; her many “bonus” children that she loved like her own; her stepmother, Jeannie Doyal; brothers, Bill, John and Scott Doyal, and James and John Sutton; one sister, Tammy Babcock; and special family friends, Chad and Jeanette Kubick and their children, Cody, Jordanne (Ty), Cole (Keylyn), Gage and Dawson. And last but definitely not least is her cherished fur baby, Lucky, who provided much comfort and joy in her life.

A celebration of Cindy’s life will be held from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 25 at First Presbyterian Church in Kingsford.

The family has entrusted the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home with the arrangements.
