FENCE, Wis. — Bruce R. Moller, 63, of Fence, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 12, 2020.

He was born Feb. 5, 1957, in Iron Mountain, son of the late Jerome and Delores (Kanter) Moller.

Bruce worked several jobs over the years and was a true jack of all trades. For many years he was employed at Goodman Veneer and Lumber Company as a maintenance man and mechanic.

Bruce served on the Fence Volunteer Fire Department and was a member of the Fence Sportsmen’s Club. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was also an excellent carpenter and enjoyed doing carpentry work.

Bruce was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He loved spending time with family and friends and his grandson, Bentley, was his pride and joy.

Bruce is survived by a son, Curtis Moller of Homestead, Wis.; a daughter, Samantha (Ben) Pyrcz of Armstrong Creek, Wis.; a grandson, Bentley Pyrcz; brothers, Girard (Annette) Moller of Florence, Wis. and Jeremy Moller of Fence; sisters, Mary (Keith Dworak) Peters of Denmark, Wis., Lori (Tom) Harrison of Fence, Jodel (Daryl) Neuens of Aurora, Wis., and Charlene (Kent) Walstrom of Aurora, Wis.; a brother-in-law, Jeff Sternahagen of Fern, Wis.; his former wife, Jeanette Larison; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Jerome Jr., Mark and Perry Moller; and two sisters, Amy Moller and Rose Sternhagen.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 16, at the Fence Cemetery. Pastor Tim Smith will officiate.

Honorary pallbearers will be Girard and Jeremy Moller, B.J. Peters, Ross Strenhagen, Dion Wolosyn, Jesse and Briar Nichols, and Darren Gustafson.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial will be established in his memory.
