Daniel J. Ryan

He was born on Oct. 13, 1941, in Appleton, Wis., the son of the late Edward and Marguerite (Debrue) Ryan. He attended Kaukauna Schools, graduating with the Class of 1960.

Dan married Dorothy Wolfinger on June 13, 1964, at the Church of St. Francis in Hollandtown, Wis. The couple celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary this year.

He was employed as a heavy equipment operator in road construction. Dan was a member of St. Norbert Catholic Church in Long Lake, Wis., the Operating Engineers Local 139, and the NRA. He loved to hunt and watch NASCAR and old Western movies.

Dan is survived by his wife, Dorothy; sons Dennis (Kristine Zemple) Ryan of Tipler and Timothy Ryan of Lake in the Hills, Ill.; grandchildren Rachel and David Ryan; brother Pat (Jean) Ryan of Kaukauna, Wis.; sister Celine Voris of Elgin, Ill.; extended family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Interment will be in Martin Cemetery in Tipler, Wis.
