KINGSFORD — Lori  S.  Kiltinen, 58, of  Kingsford, passed away on Thursday, July 30, 2020, at Freeman Health and Rehabilitation Community in Kingsford.

Lori was born on Feb. 1, 1962, in Iron Mountain, daughter of Charles and Mary (Marchand) Lauersdorf. She has been a resident of this area her entire life and was a 1980 graduate of Kingsford High School. 

Lori worked for Trico Opportunities in the sewing department for several years.

She married Kenneth Kiltinen on June 15, 1996, at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Kingsford.

She was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.

Lori loved to sew and was an expert seamstress. 

She also enjoyed knitting, crocheting and taking Sunday drives with her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles; and her brother, Carl Lauersdorf.

Lori is survived by her husband, Kenneth; son, Michael of Kingsford; her mother, Mary Lauersdorf of Kingsford; brothers, Chuck (Diane) Lauersdorf of Rapid River and Gary (Shari Bal) Lauersdorf of Norway; her uncle, Ray (Sheryl) Marchand of Iron Mountain and aunt, Jennete Marchand of Iron Mountain; sister-in-law, Beth (Larry) Linna of Skandia; brother-in-law, John (Melissa) Kiltinen of San Francisco; and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be on Thursday, Aug. 6, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church of Kingsford.

Funeral services will follow at 11 a.m. at the church.  The Rev. Matthew Reusch will officiate.
