WILSON — Lisa Ann Walechka, 55, of Wilson, passed away on Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2020, peacefully at home with her family by her side, after a long courageous battle with cancer.
She was born March 29, 1965 in Powers, to the late Howard and Elizabeth (Doyen) Otradovec. On May 5, 1984, she married Tony Walechka in Powers. Lisa was a registered nurse for over 30 years with Dickinson Memorial Hospital.
Lisa enjoyed going camping and fishing, crafting, crocheting, entertaining friends and family, cooking and baking and being a nana to her grandchildren.
Lisa is survived by her husband, Tony of Wilson; daughter Amanda (Chris) LaBoeuf of Spalding; son, Adam (Kristen) Walechka of Wilson; three grandchildren, Gabriella and Norah LeBoeuf and Mya Walechka; sister, Karen (Dave) Broeders of Bark River; and many sisters and brothers-in-laws, nieces, nephews and great friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Scott Otradovec.
A private visitation will be held for the family.
Burial with a graveside service will be on Tuesday, Nov. 24, at 1 p.m. at the Nadeau Township Cemetery with Fr. Jacek Wytklo officiating.
