Patricia A. “Patty” Mortl

Patty was born on April 20, 1956, in East Tawas, Mich., daughter of Robert and Nancy Mosher.

Patty, a 23 year lung cancer survivor, was very spiritual and had a strong faith in the Lord. She was an avid crafter who loved to sew and knit and loved gardening and woodworking. Patty was very kind and caring. She used to transport cancer patients to appointments and loved animals, especially her dog Rosie.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Mike Mortl; their two boys, Matthew (Amanda) Mortl and Michael Mortl II; three grandchildren, Lucas, Elliott, and Logan; her mother, Nancy Mosher; sisters, Pam Smith and Cheryl Mosher; brothers, Bobby Mosher and Jeff Mosher; special aunt, Harriett; sister-in-law, Carole (John) Erickson; brothers-in-law, Frank (Anne) Mortl, James (Kris) Mortl, and Mark (Laura) Mortl; and numerous nieces and nephews including a special niece, Lisa (Rudy) Vassar.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Mosher; father-in-law, Frank Mortl; mother-in-law, Betty Mortl; sister-in-law, Sharon Giannunzio; and brother-in-law, David Giannunzio.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Shein and Dr. Saigh for their special care of Patty.
