Thomas Schuckman

He was born in Milwaukee, on Feb. 20, 1949, the son of the late Gilbert and Betty Jane (Kramer) Schuckman.

Tom graduated from Waterford Union in 1967 and served his country in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1970 in Germany and two tours in Vietnam as a door gunner.

Tom retired from Chrysler Automotive in 2002 and moved to Norway in 2016.

He married Loretta Richter on Oct. 26, 2017 in Iron Mountain.

Tom is survived by his wife, Loretta; daughters, Barbara Schuckman and Sarah (Grant) Juschka; step-sons, Brian Kilpatrick and Andy Bukowski; three grandchildren; sisters, Linda (Tom) Breuer and Sue (Gino) Wright; many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his son, Andrew Schuckman; brother, Albert Schuckman; sister, Denise and niece Jackqueline Geddes.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Aug. 5 at 11 a.m. at the Ortman Funeral Home in Norway with Pastor Kevin Sullivan of Family Baptist Church in Kingsford officiating.

A Veterans service will follow with the Hall-Dewinter Post 145 American Legion of Norway.
