Patricia N. Bailey

Patty was born Aug. 24, 1956, in Newberry, daughter of the late Donald and Beverly (Mendenhall) Pentland.

She graduated from Newberry High School in 1974 and married Daniel Bailey on Oct. 11, 1975. Patty was employed at Golden Rule Daycare in Kingsford for over 10 years. She also worked at Walmart for many years as a greeter and cashier.

Patty loved arts and crafts and was very talented with all types of needlework. She enjoyed collecting thimbles, watching the Hallmark Channel and playing games on her computer.

In the end, she really just looked forward to more time with loved ones. Now she is no longer confined to a body with so many limitations and struggles.

Patty is survived by her husband, Dan; three children, Jason Bailey, Kate Bailey and Andrew (Laura) Bailey, all of Kingsford; three grandchildren, Gavin, Jacob and Jameson; a brother, Jim (Dee) Pentland; three sisters, Renee (Rick) Keune, Ellie Pentland and Sue Pentland; and several nieces and nephews. She will forever live on in the hearts of her loved ones.

A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23 at the Erickson-Rochon & Nash Funeral Home in Iron Mountain. Kate Burie will officiate.
